1breadcrumb app offers tourism and sporting industries a digital solution post COVID-19
May 11, 2020

The 1breadcrumb app has recently been developed as a one-touch solution to exiting COVID-19 lockdown in line with the hospitality industry’s health and safety framework, allowing patrons to safely check-in and out of venues. 1breadcrumb is also offering the platform free to all not for profit and community/sporting organisations.

1Breadcrumb Founder Paul Willson advises “1breadcrumb is quick and easy to use as an alternative to the Federal Government’s COVID-19 app, ensuring businesses are able to quickly trace anyone who has been in contact with a guest, patron or staff member diagnosed with Coronavirus.

“In order to confidently and safely reopen hotels, theme parks and tourist attractions, businesses need to be able to access information about who has been on site, for how long, and who they interacted with – in case of a secondary outbreak.”

As digital check-ins at hotels, tourist precincts and airports become part of the new normal post isolation, the 1breadcrumb developers responded to an urgent call from businesses needing a simple, digital solution that allows them to monitor who is visiting, without threatening the privacy of visitors.

1Breadcrumb Founder Paul Willson said returning the hospitality, hotel and tourism industries from hibernation means ensuring venues can feel confident in quickly tracing impacted patrons if there is another outbreak.

Wilson adds “1breadcrumb was developed with built-in GEO-fencing, allowing for hospitality businesses to easily and securely manage an automatic checking process whilst ensuring the privacy of customers and guests.

“1breadcrumb allows people diagnosed with Coronavirus to quickly and easily check their history to see where they’ve been and then contact those venues and the authorities.

“Digital check-ins and check-outs will become part of the post-pandemic normal, and 1breadcrumb provides a non-invasive, one-touch solution.”
