A perfect match as Hong Kong Football Club installs STI surfaces

The Hong Kong Football Club has installed a range of sports surfaces from Sports Technology International (STI).
The prestigious Hong Kong club, which this year will celebrate its 125th anniversary, has recently upgraded several of its sport surfaces with new STI systems. The upgrade included:
• Poligras Olympia Hockey Pitch - FIH Certified
• Poligras Premier RS Soccer/Rugby pitch - FIFA 2 Star Certified and IRB Rule 22 Compliant
• Six OmniCourt ProCourt Tennis Courts - ITF Classified
• Dynapoint Multipurpose Gymnasium Flooring - International Handball Federation approved
• Spurtan Sureplay - Jogging trail
The Poligras Premier RS Soccer/Rugby pitch replaced a previous generation Poligras pitch. Both the old and new generation Poligras football installations have achieved FIFA certification and are IRB Rule 22 compliant demonstrating the ideal 'One Turf' system. The 'One Turf' concept gives discerning clubs and associations such as the Hong Kong Football Club, a 'One Turf' facility catering to several codes maximising return on investment and minimising required space.
Poligras Olympia is the Official FIH World Cup Surface and has been the surface of choice for major events including the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2009 FIH Champions Trophy, 2010 Singapore Youth Olympics and the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games. The Poligras Olympia pitch holds the club in perfect position for hosting major tournaments and teams.
OmniCourt ProCourt Tennis Courts are STI's premier tennis court system. The shorter denser pile combined with a thicker rectangular yarn delivers outstanding consistent ball bounce with excellent footing and traction. The courts look and play great.
The Dynapoint gymnasium flooring is an in-situ poured flooring system. It's hard wearing, with an impermeable designed top layer system making it odour absorbent free, ideal for busy gymnasium facilities. The surface is International Handball Federation approved.
Spurtan Sureplay is ideal for the jogging trail at the club and offers recreational joggers comfort and the club a durable low maintenance facility.
Founded in 1886 and located in Hong Kong's Happy Valley, the Hong Kong Football Club offers facilities for lawn bowls, rugby, football, hockey, squash, and tennis. Its indoor sports hall has facilities for netball, basketball and badminton while its swimming pool complex is used for triathlon training.
