Anytime Fitness and Apple Fitness+ launch joint venture to elevate member experience

Anytime Fitness and Apple Fitness+ launch joint venture to elevate member experience
June 2, 2025

Anytime Fitness has today announced that it is teaming up with Apple Fitness+ to offer members an unmatched digital and in-person fitness experience.

From today, all Anytime Fitness members will unlock free access to Fitness+ (an award-winning fitness and wellness service designed to be welcoming to all) for the lifetime of their active membership at no additional cost - delivering a truly connected fitness experience that bridges the gap between in-club and on-demand wellness.

Under the partnership members can use Fitness+ in their local Anytime Fitness to complement their regular workouts, at home when they can’t make it to the gym, or on the go while traveling - giving them more opportunities to stay consistent and improve their fitness.

Existing Fitness+ users also benefit from the collaboration, receiving four weeks free when they sign up for a 12-month Anytime Fitness membership.

The collaboration not only enhances the member experience through access to thousands of workouts and meditations on demand but also tackles one of the biggest unspoken barriers to fitness.

Introducing the joint venture, Anytime Fitness Group Chief Marketing Officer, Caitlin Bancroft “we know that for many people, stepping into a gym for the first time can be intimidating.

“This partnership brings together the motivation and guidance of Apple Fitness+ with the real-world support of our club teams, giving members a personal trainer in their pocket and a community by their side.”

According to recent Australian Sports Commission insights, a lack of confidence, uncertainty around how to use equipment, and fear of being judged are major reasons why Australians avoid sport - and this is reflected in gyms as well.

To combat this, Fitness+ workouts and meditations offer a confidence-boosting blend of expert-led programming and human connection.

Jay Blahnik, Vice President of Fitness Technologies at Apple, explains “from day one, Apple Fitness+ was designed to give people the freedom to work out anytime and anywhere.

“By teaming up with Australia’s largest gym network, Anytime Fitness, we’re combining the flexibility of digital fitness with the energy of in-gym training - giving members even more ways to stay consistent.

“Whether they’re complementing their routine at the gym, staying active on days they can’t get there, or keeping up while traveling, we’re empowering them to maintain and improve their fitness wherever life takes them.”

Bancroft added “at Anytime Fitness, we’re committed to being the most welcoming and inclusive fitness community in Australia.

“This partnership is about breaking down barriers and building up confidence - helping more people feel comfortable, capable, and connected wherever they choose to move.”

Fitness+ offers users access to thousands of workouts and meditations in 4K Ultra High Definition on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, ranging from five to 45 minutes across 12 different types including strength, HIIT, treadmill, rowing, cycling and yoga.
