ASM Global technology partnership to deliver new venue management platform

Global venue management company and live event producer ASM Global has agreed a multi-year partnership with cloud software firm Infor that will deliver the live entertainment industry’s first fully integrated booking, sales, food and beverage and event management platform for domestic and international venues.
ASM plans to officially begin deploying the recently developed software this month at select arenas, stadiums, theatres and convention centres across the USA before the rollout is expanded to ASM’s global facility portfolio with an expected completion by December.
Advising of the new partnership, ASM Global President and Chief Executive, Ron Bension stated “Infor’s technology solutions, as part of our one-of-a-kind technology advantage for our clients, will help us further revolutionise guest experiences, promote greater client engagement, increase revenues for partners, and streamline communications from event bookings to sales and marketing touch points.
“It’s another opportunity for us to fuse our global expertise and learnings with the ability to create local solutions for all of our partners.”
ASM’s new global management system can be configured and customised by venue type and size, creating what it claims will be numerous benefits, including increased venue efficiency and profitability, growth of event sales and creating more touch points for enhanced client engagement.
Infor General Manager, Jason Floyd added “Infor is committed to innovating and collaborating with leading organisations like ASM Global to provide proven, scalable technology to the hospitality industry at large so that teams are able to utilise modern applications to better understand and cater to patrons and their business.
“When an organisation places less focus on administrative tasks and can automate processes, it is able to quickly deliver tangible business results and better understand and engage loyal customers more effectively.”
Earlier this month, ASM signed a long-term partnership with local commerce platform DoorDash to deploy mobile technology dining solutions at venues across the USA.
