Athletics New Zealand and GameDay extend partnership

Athletics New Zealand and GameDay have extended their long-standing partnership providing a state-of-the-art platform that allows Athletics New Zealand Club and Centre administrators to streamline their registration, member management, communication, and financial management processes – all key to supporting continued growth and sustainability of grass roots athletics in New Zealand.
As the national governing body for Athletics in New Zealand, Athletics NZ looks after the sport across all disciplines from grassroots, through to high performance teams.
After working with GameDay for close to 10 years, Athletics NZ has been instrumental in driving the direction of the GameDay solutions in the National membership and event registration space.
An emphasis on usability and extensibility for future growth of the platform has been a cornerstone for the GameDay product team in developing and enhancing this solution in recent years.
Following an extensive consultation process through which Athletics NZ considered a large variety of priorities and potential providers in the market, GameDay was once again selected to be their technology partner of choice.
GameDay’s relationships with industry leading technology partners, particularly data analytics and insights providers, now allows them to unlock membership and participation insights that have never been available at grassroots level.
Ongoing development of the platform is positioning GameDay to be a global leader in membership and event registration software and is the perfect complement to their Competition Management product in the market - GameDay Passport.
Athletics NZ Commercial & Marketing Manager, Jo Clark notes "we have been particularly impressed with the functionality of the GameDay platform, the development that has already taken place, GameDay’s understanding of the complexities of athletics, as well as the approach and roadmap for the project including assurance in meeting our timeframes.
“We are confident this will provide us with the best solution for membership, engagement and competition management moving forwards, as well as supporting and complementing the outcomes of the Sport NZ Strengthen & Adapt programme”.
Danny Morrison, GameDay Commercial Director (NZ) adds “the relationship between GameDay and Athletics New Zealand is something we value immensely and we are excited by the opportunity to support Athletics in enhancing their technology offerings going forward. We very much appreciate the valuable insights the Athletics NZ team has provided in driving our technology roadmap and priorities”
