Baseball Australia seals technology link with IMG Sports Technology Group

Baseball Australia and IMG Sports Technology Group (IMG STG) have established a collaboration that will see IMG STG become the sole technology provider to the sport.
The exciting new partnership will offer Baseball Australia with a range of solutions that will significantly help the overall growth of baseball within Australia.
Central to the collaboration will be the implementation of IMG STG's innovative membership platform and online payment system; already being used by some of Australia's most prominent sporting bodies. This platform will allow Baseball Australia to provide a more efficient and user-friendly service to its member database. This in turn, will dramatically reduce the already existing administration workload of BA, which will allow for more time to accurately report on participation numbers thus attracting more participants to the already well-established sport.
The partnership will also afford Baseball Australia with a new Competition Management system tailored to the sport's unique needs and integrated with the database and new website platforms.
All sites nationally will be re-vamped by IMG STG in-house, using the company's 'best-in-class' technology and creative resources, that are currently utilised by over 38 National Sporting Bodies, from grass root to the elite sporting clubs worldwide.
IMG STG Chief Executive Glen McGoldrick, is thrilled at this new partnership between IMG STG and Baseball Australia and to be working with one of the fastest growing sports in Australia.
McGoldrick explains "already the relationship that we have formed with Baseball Australia has been very encouraging and the fact that Baseball Australia is keen to implement our state of the art system is such a compliment to our business.
"I really look forward to working closely with the team at Baseball Australia to see how we can continue to enhance their online presence and help in attracting new participants to the sport, thus improving their overall growth within the industry."
Baseball Australia Chief Executive Brett Pickett agrees about the positive nature of this new partnership and is encouraged by IMG Sports Technology Group's real understanding of grassroots sport's needs.
Pickett adds "partnering with IMG STG is a milestone achievement for our sport and a real game changer that will allow us to realise our true potential and be at the forefront of sports IT innovation.
"But the most important aspect of this partnership for us is that IMG STG values our grassroots communities and members as much as we do, and I look forward to working with them under a business model that ensures our members are front of mind with all advancements."
Work is already underway for the implementation of the new Baseball Australia website and other various platforms, with the roll out to commence over the next couple of months.
