Eden Park and Australian venues and professionals named finalists in The StadiumBusiness Awards

Events, initiatives and key staff from Australia and New Zealand have been named finalists in The StadiumBusiness Awards 2017.
Now in their eighth year, The StadiumBusiness Awards are the only awards to recognise a whole spectrum of achievements from across the global stadium industry.
In advance of the Gala Awards Evening at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland on 22nd June 2017, Australasian venues have been named finalists across a range of categories, with the Sydney Cricket Ground & Sports Trust named as finalists in three categories and the Adelaide Oval and Auckland venue Eden Park named as finalists in two categories.

Among the finalists, Eden Park’s Lian Tetley has been shortlisted for the Unsung Hero Award, which recognises the outstanding service she has delivered to Eden Park members over the past 30 years.
Guy Ngata, Chief Executive of The Eden Park Trust, explains “it is especially pleasing to see Lian acknowledged for her long-term commitment and personal investment into our membership programme and relationship with our members.
Eden Park’s commercial team, under the leadership of General Manager Commercial Nick Sautner, has been nominated for the Sales & Marketing Award due to the outstanding work undertaken identifying and commercialising a number of key assets with new partners over the past year.
Ngata (pictured) added “the outstanding work the Commercial team has undertaken growing and servicing our portfolio of partners under Nick’s leadership is a welldeserved recognition.
“We look forward to the announcement of the category winners and, regardless of the result, The Eden Park Trust is very proud of this acknowledgement.”
