FINA strengthens ties with Myrtha Pools
Swimming pool manufacturer Myrtha Pools has become an Official Partner of the first World Aquatics Convention, in a deal that it says reinforces its commitment to the swimming's international governing body FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation) and the development of aquatic sport around the world.
Myrtha Pools delivers made-to-measure competition pools for the FINA World Championship and events hosting swimming, water polo, synchro-swimming and diving.
Explaining the partnership, FINA President Dr. Julio Maglione stated "FINA and its member federations rely on the expertise of the commercial sector to deliver our sport â for our members to be able to meet leading companies such as Myrtha Pools will be invaluable to them.
"I thank them for their support and look forward to a successful three days in Punta del Este."
The inaugural FINA World Aquatics Convention takes place in Punta del Este, Uruguay, from 27th to 29th September. Set to take take place every two years, the conference offers an opportunity for organisations operating in the international aquatics business community to come together to network, develop new business opportunities and share knowledge that will contribute to the growth and development of aquatic sport.
