Gym Click Media takes Winter Olympian’s digital game to new heights

Melbourne-based digital agency Gym Click Media has announced a partnership with Winter Olympian Belle Brockhoff that aims to enhance the leading athlete’s online and marketing presence.
Brockhoff, currently the world’s #3, and Australia’s #1 female in the Snowboard Cross discipline, has participated in 32 World Cups, and earned three gold, three silver and one bronze medal placings.
These impressive achievements have firmly positioned her as a major contender for the podium at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, in PyeongChang, Korea.
While she has her the training and nutrition components of her preparation sorted, Brockhoff admits that she does need help with is her ‘digital game’.
Brockhoff explains “as a competitive sportsperson, we turn to the experts to ensure we get the best from our training and nutrition efforts.
“So it makes perfect sense to work with a professional when it comes to developing and maintaining website and social media presence.”
With an impeccable reputation for its extensive work with the leading brands in the Australian fitness industry, Gym Click Media co-founder, Eugene Downing explains “for elite level athletes, training and nutrition are clearly the two most critical components for success in their sport.
“However, the third - often overlooked - element that sportspeople of Belle’s calibre need to pay attention to, is an engaging, innovative and interactive presence on the internet.
“Here at Gym Click Media, we understand that elite sportspeople have so many things to focus on while preparing for competition; and building or maintaining a professional web and online presence should not be one of them.”
Presenting a lifetime’s achievements, and snapshots of an athlete’s personality via a professionally maintained website, ensures that potential brand sponsors can gain a clear and concise indication as to the athlete’s compatibility with their brand.
By garnering fans and followers via a strategically devised social media campaign, elite athletes like Brockhoff will attract potential sponsors who are seeking high volume exposure via the athlete’s influence.
Gym Click Media co-founder Tian Jay adds “often, elite sportspeople are so focused on the traditional areas of their competition preparation – and rightly so – that they’re left with no time, inclination or skillset to develop the off-field activities that contribute so heavily to their overall success as an athlete, role model, and potential brand ambassador. To us, that’s a glaringly obvious gap in the marketplace where our specialist expertise can be really put to good work.
“We are so excited to work with Belle, to boost her online presence, further engage her fans, and to attract new sponsors. Our goal is to deliver an online strategy for Belle that will be a gold medal performance – just like the one we’re confident we’ll see from her in PyeongChang next year!”
Belle Brockhoff is the first of a number of planned athlete sponsorships that Gym Click Media plan to secure.
