IMG Sports Technology Group appoint new CEO

IMG Sports Technology Group (IMG STG) has appointed Matthew Wilson as the new Chief Executive to oversee the ongoing growth of the business.
Wilson has a corporate background in the finance sector with senior roles at Deutsche Bank, ANZ McCaughan and Colonial State Bank. As Chief Executive Asia Pacific of IG Markets he was responsible for the launch of an innovative online trading platform and will be looking to use this experience to grow the IMG STG brand globally.
Announcing the appointment, IMG STG Director Glen McGoldrick stated "Matthew brings to the company a unique set of corporate skills that will help take the company to the next stage in its growth cycle.
"We are a company growing very quickly in a rapidly evolving online space and we see the appointment of Matthew as a critical step towards our future aspirations."
Wilson is excited to have joined the team at IMG STG adding "the company is in a very strong position to expand on its market leading position in the online subscription and event registration space. Our product suite is currently used by a many of the elite sporting and membership organisations but is equally at home with grass roots events and clubs. Our recent launch of a new ticketing facility gives us a unique offer in the marketplace. "
Based in Melbourne, IMGSTG provides a wide range of online membership, subscription, ticketing and registration products and services, predominantly to the sports market. Clients currently utilising IMG STG's products include the AFL, NRL, NBL, Cricket Australia, Swimming Australia, Athletics Australia and numerous other National, State and Club based organisations.
