IMG STG backs Richmond fans in Port Adelaide clash

While the team wasn't successful on the field in the first weekend of the AFL Premiership finals series, Richmond Football Club went about ensuring their faithful fans could back the team when they took on Port Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval last Sunday (7th September).
Inundated with support from Richmond fans, the Tigers organised five chartered coaches and a flight to encourage fans to travel to Adelaide and support their team in first round of the finals.
IMG Sports Technology Group’s (IMGSTG) event management platform, EventDesq, facilitated the purchase of these tickets.
Through EventDesq, the bus (the 'Tiger Army Express') and the chartered plane (referred to as 'Fly with the Chief') sold out in under two days, with hundreds of Richmond fans taking advantage of this unique experience.
Commenting on the initiative, Richmond Football Club Marketing and Campaign Analyst Kate Stevens stated “IMG STG could not have been more helpful, professional and dedicated to us during this period.
"With extremely little notice, they were able to provide transactional platforms and associated customer service support to services and events including the charter buses, charter flights, and our supporter functions.
"We were able to deliver highly valued and engaging experiences to our members as a result."
