Myrtha movable bulkheads allow multiple pool activities

Myrtha Pools moveable bulkheads allows simultaneous activities to take place inside separate areas of the same swimming pool.
Constructed from stainless steel, the Myrtha movable bulkhead delivers accuracy and uniform movement, with the structure drawn across the width of the pool by means of two rails located externally on the deck surface.
The movement is made possible using two stainless steel flywheels located at each end of the bulkhead, which are connected to the sliding system by a double chain reduction gear. The movement is easily hand driven and requires almost no physical effort. Alternatively, thanks to a patented magnetic traction system, motorised activation of the platform itself may also be employed.
Unlike floating systems, the bulkhead developed by Myrtha Pools has the advantage of extreme accuracy and uniform movement along the pool.
Once secured in fixed positions, the bulkhead can also mark competition fields in perfect accordance with the regulations of world swimming governing body FINA.
Myrtha also offer their Flow-Through Bulkhead, which allows a large amount of the swimmer surge wave to pass through the bulkhead above and below the water surface helping to further eliminate wave rebounding and turbulence.
