National Sports Convention to link trade, education and networking opportunities

The National Sports Convention (NSC) is to present the largest ever coming together of Australia’s sport and recreation industry under one roof when it is held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th July.
Bringing together Australia’s leading suppliers and peak bodies, the NSC’s free to attend trade shows will host over 60 exhibitors displaying a range of indoor facilities, sports equipment, sports technology and sports surfaces products.
The Expo will also provide numerous opportunities for networking, sharing ideas and developing new initiatives with a Peak Body Sports Hub for sport bodies, expo attendees and delegates to meet. The broad range of exhibitors include:

• Indoor Facilities – Everything from programs, activities, change rooms, technology, merchandising, secondary spend, retail solutions, aquatic equipment and solutions, including Peddle Thorp Architects, Ausco Modular Pavilions, ACE Floors & Coverings, Novofit and Genesis Fitness Club.
• Sports Equipment – All aspects of sport including goals, seats, flags, netting, fencing, lighting, big screen technology and timing systems, including Australasia Sports Timing, Play Hard Sports, Gerard Lighting and Jasstech Solutions.
• Sports Technology – As the largest growth area of supporting clubs and individuals in participation, the latest sports technology will be showcased, including Revolutionise Sport, Sports TG, PaySmart and Sportscomm.
• Sports Surfaces – Natural, hybrid, synthetic and hard-court surfaces, with the latest technology from some of the world's and Australia’s leading suppliers, installers, maintenance companies and sports equipment providers, including FieldTurf, Polytan, Greenplay Australia, Grassports Australia, StrathAyr Turf Solutions and HG Sports Turf.
Free Education Sessions
New to the Expo this year, the NSC is also offering a series of free-to-access Education Sessions.
In addition to the multiple conference programs under the NSC umbrella, the Sport and Recreation Expo Program includes a full program of talks and interviews with national and state governments, commercial and volunteer sectors who will each share their insights over the two days.
The Program is being held in the Victoria University Theatre.
