ONE Championship’s Asian expansion plans to be explained at Stadiums and Arenas Asia Summit

ONE Championship, Asia’s largest sports media property with a global broadcast to over one billion homes in 128 countries, is looking to make inroads into new markets in 2018 and has earmarked India, South Korea and Japan as potential destinations.
Chatri Sityodtong, Chairman and Chief Executive of the sports media property, explains “as an organisation rapidly expanding across Asia, we are in constant communication with various arena owners and managers for which to hold our live events.
“We are always open to working with arena owners in negotiating deals and contract terms with regards to our live events.”
Over the past few years, ONE has also achieved some of the highest TV ratings and social media engagement metrics in Asia with its unique brand of Asian values, world-class athletes, and world-class production, which Sityodtong attributes to the skill and expertise of its in-house marketing team.
Sityodtong adds “our in-house team at ONE Championship comprises of some of the most highly-dedicated and skilled talents in their respective fields. They do the bulk of the work and we all have a cohesive vision and direction in everything we do.
“That said, the company also sometimes enlist the aid of third party outsourced vendors for various functions including marketing and public relations and is “open to any partnerships that have mutual benefit.”
At the upcoming 2nd Stadiums and Arenas Asia Summit 2018, Sityodtong will be sharing some of the fan engagement strategies that ONE Championship have put in place as they plot their upwards trajectory throughout Asia-Pacific in the next few years.
Early bird registrations for the Summit, being held at the Equarius Hotel, Singapore on 27th and 28th February, close as of Friday 26th January.
