Padel Australia partners with Mindspring to expand Padel across Australia

Padel Australia, the governing body for one of the country's fastest-growing sports, has partnered with sports tech investment firm Mindspring.

The collaboration is significant to Padel's development and expansion across Australia, with Mindspring becoming an official infrastructure partner of Padel Australia.

With a focus on accessibility and growth, Mindspring will work with leading Padel court and technology suppliers from around the world to bring the sport to new heights. It will also provide advisory services to clubs new to Padel to ensure a successful launch in their community.

Mindspring’s proposition will help to holistically enhance the vibrancy and sustainability of sport and recreation venues, with their innovative approach to integrating Padel courts within existing facilities. For sport and recreation venues wanting to integrate Padel, Mindspring will cover new Padel court costs and share court utilisation proceeds with the venue.

Padel Australia’s Callum Beale noted "we have seen Padel's popularity continue to grow in Australia over the past few years, and we believe partnering with Mindspring is an important step in driving further growth of the sport.

"Our goal is to see a sustainable expansion of Padel courts and clubs nationwide to meet consumer demand, and Mindspring's court investment program is a key partnership to support this objective.”

Mindspring’s founders and executive team bring more than 100 years of international experience in growing sports through events, technology, and strategic partnerships. Their commitment to investing in the development of Padel courts in key locations across Australia aligns with Padel Australia’s vision for the sport’s future.

Mindspring’s CEO Anton Brams enthused “we are thrilled to partner with Padel Australia and support the sport’s infrastructure development.

“Our mission is to enhance the Padel experience for players and enthusiasts. This partnership will enable us to integrate state-of-the-art Padel courts within select existing venues, driving the sport’s growth and sustainability.”

Mindspring’s innovative approach will see Padel courts established in key locations, making the sport more accessible to communities nationwide. This initiative is expected to boost participation and engagement in the sport, aiding in fostering a thriving Padel community within Australia.
