Recreation course management tool on offer to Australasian sports clubs and swim schools
A course management tool aimed at making it easier for sports clubs and swim schools to manage classes and programs is now being offered as a standalone product in Australia and New Zealand.
Leisure management software company Jonas Leisure has launched its CoursePro in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
CoursePro allows managers and customers to easily manage their timetables, and to communicate more effortlessly with each other about classes, streamlining the instruction process for everyone. Developed by Cap2 Solutions, a division of Jonas Leisure, the product is already integrated into software used to manage activities like tennis training and school swim programs.
Cap2 Solutions Sales Development Manager Alex Davison said offering CoursePro as a standalone product made it more accessible for businesses that didn’t want to invest huge sums in software.
Davison explained “as a standalone system, CoursePro brings time savings at more affordable levels. It is especially good for small businesses.”
Davison sees that the software can now potentially be extended to schools, casual coaches and small fitness centres that do not normally use leisure management solutions.
Davison adds that small fitness centres are not the only ones that can benefit, commenting that buyers could include “multi-site operators that don’t have a system we integrate with, but still see the value in the product and are happy to use it standalone.”
CoursePro is a cloud-based solution, making it accessible from any computer with an internet connection. It comes with an instructor app, which can be used during class and allows teachers to manage registration and attendance, set teaching plans and assess their pupils. The instructor app can be set up on any iOS or Android device and used offline if internet is not available. Data is then synced once connected again.
Cap2 Solutions started as a swim school management programme in the UK with the CoursePro component developed so that it could be integrated with other systems or used standalone. It has become the leading management solution in the UK and is rapidly expanding to other countries.
Davison comments “the product delivers huge time savings, no matter what size your business is.
“It improves the communication between instructors, administrators and parents. It’s been hugely successful and seen us grow from just under 300 sites to nearly 1,000 in three years.”
Mike Henton, General Manager of Jonas Leisure in Australia New Zealand, said he anticipated high demand for the standalone CoursePro offer in Australia and New Zealand.
Henton concludes “we’re really excited about the possibilities this opens up for sports across Australia and New Zealand. It can be used for anything from swim training and sports coaching to tennis lessons and gym classes.
“It means people who run classes are no longer limited to antiquated software solutions.”
