Exhibitor registrations open for Germany’s co-located 2025 aquanale and FSB industry ‘mega events’

Exhibitor registrations open for Germany’s co-located 2025 aquanale and FSB industry ‘mega events’
November 26, 2024

After a successful event in October 2023, preparations are underway for the next edition of the biennial dual trade fair: aquanale, the International Trade Fair for the aquatic industry and FSB, the International Trade Fair for Public Space, Sport and Leisure Facilities.

To be hosted in the German city of Cologne from 28th to 31st October next year, organisers are advising that exhibitors that participated in previous editions and interested first-time exhibitors can secure significant benefits by making an early booking before 31st January 2025.

aquanale will occupy Halls 7 and 8 of the Koelnmesse exhibition grounds once again in 2025. Clearly structured into six theme worlds, the event presents trends in private pool and wellness facilities with saunas and spas as well as innovations and management concepts for operators of public pools, water parks and thermal baths.

The International Swimming Pool and Wellness Forum remains a firm fixture on aquanale’s program and a key component in its line-up.

Organised by the trade fair’s conceptual sponsor, the German Association for Swimming Pools and Wellness (bsw), in collaboration with the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS) and the Federal Association of German Swimming Pool Professionals (BDS), the forum provides a comprehensive overview of current industry issues.

The co-located event FSB is the global hub for products and services related to public spaces and sports and leisure facilities. The event will be held in Halls 9, 10.1 and 10.2. The IAKS Congress, the leading international specialist congress for sports and leisure facilities, will once again be hosted during the trade fair, providing the perfect opportunity to exchange expertise and network with sector professionals.

Among other topics, in 2025 FSB will address issues such as how sports and leisure facilities contribute to health goals, social integration and reducing CO2 emissions as well as the energy transition in sports centres.

Visitors and exhibitors will once again benefit from the powerful synergies that hosting the two events in parallel generates. Through careful matchmaking on the supply and demand sides, the leading international trade fairs for their respective sectors create a platform for the sports, playground, swimming and exercise industry that is unique in this world.

Attending aquanale and FSB in 2023, Australasian Leisure Management Editor, Karen Sweaney said “this massive industry event is so much more than a traditional exhibition, it sets new international benchmarks by bringing industry players and offerings together.”

Short distances between the showcases and their proximity to the entrances and the Congress Centres North and East complete the profile of these two highly attractive co-located events.

aquanale and FSB
aquanale - International Trade Fair for Sauna.Pool.Ambience. - and FSB - International Trade Fair for Public Space, Sports and Leisure Facilities - are hosted every two years in Cologne as co-located events.

The trade fair duo transforms Cologne’s exhibition centre into the international meeting place for everything relating to public and private pools, the planning and design of public spaces and amenity areas, sports facilities and playgrounds, sports equipment, and exercise and recreational facilities.

aquanale’s conceptual sponsor is the German Federal Association for Swimming Pools and Wellness (bsw). FSB’s conceptual sponsor is IAKS e.V., the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities.

Alongside imm cologne and interzum, other event formats hosted at the trade fair hub of Cologne such as ORGATEC, spoga+gafa, FSB and aquanale are among the most internationally renowned and established industry gatherings.
