Stadium Live App improves fan engagement with Vodafone Warriors

Fans of the NRL's Vodafone Warriors fans can now get closer to the team than ever before, thanks to the launch of the new Vodafone Stadium Live App for the Auckland-based team.
Developed in conjunction with SKY TV and the Vodafone Warriors, the Stadium Live for Vodafone Warriors App takes fans at Warriors home games right into the thick of game day action, with exclusive access to eight SKY camera angles to stream footage, replays and highlights LIVE from their mobile device.
Vodafone Warriors Managing Director Jim Doyle says the App is part of a natural progression of the company’s proud legacy with the club.
Doyle explains “Vodafone has been a core partner of ours since 1999, and their support has been unprecedented in the era of professional sport. The Stadium Live App is another demonstration of Vodafone’s complete commitment to the Vodafone Warriors, and ensures our fans get the benefit of the best technology has to offer.”
Vodafone Chief Executive Russell Stanners says the Stadium Live for Vodafone Warriors App is the future for sports codes, enabling fans to connect with the on-field action in new ways.
Stanners added “here’s no longer a need to crane your neck when the action’s down field, or wonder why a call was made. With a flick of your thumb you can rewind any of the eight camera angles back by 30 seconds to get a replay, just as you would while watching the match at home.
“We’re thrilled to bring this world-leading technology to the passionate fans of the Vodafone Warriors. It’s the perfect marriage of explosive content, leveraging Vodafone’s experience in digital transformation.”
The Stadium Live experience is available for fans to use once they are in the stadium.
The app also offers a range of additional opportunities to learn more about the Vodafone Warriors with player profiles and statistics, draw information, merchandise, and a fast track to their social media pages.
