Ticketmaster to fund ticketing technology upgrade for NRL’s Sea Eagles
November 7, 2019

Ticketmaster has renewed its partnership with Manly Warringah Sea Eagles to remain as the clubs official ticketing partner for all home games at its Lottoland (Brookvale Oval) home venue for at least the next six years.

In addition to an ongoing significant investment to retain the exclusive ticketing rights with the Sea Eagles, until at least the end of the 2025 NRL season, Ticketmaster has also committed funding to upgrade and enhance game-day ticketing technology and operations for the Lottoland venue.

Announcing the partnership yesterday, Sea Eagles Chief Operating Officer, Brett Manwaring stated “we are delighted to continue our strong partnership with Ticketmaster for at least another 6 years and a big focus from both ourselves and Ticketmaster throughout the renewal process was ensuring that our Members and fans, as well as visiting team supporters, have access to the best technology and the most streamlined processes when it comes to ticketing and entry at Lottoland.

“Finding ways to improve the game day experience of our Members and fans is always at the forefront of our minds and Ticketmaster’s commitment to updating and improving the ticketing technology and infrastructure at Lottoland, over and above their base investment in our ongoing partnership, is a great outcome and another sign of our continued investment and commitment to Lottoland as our home ground.”

Sea Eagles members will not only be treated to enhanced ticketing technology operations at Lottoland but will also receive special offers direct from Ticketmaster for a range of other events, especially outside of footy season.

Ticketmaster’s NSW/ACT State Manager, Deb Wright added “in addition to rugby league, Ticketmaster are the ticketing agents for several thousand music, other sporting, art, theatre, and comedy events each year across Australia and are excited to announce that as part of our renewed partnership with Manly Sea Eagles we will be making available to Manly Members special offers across a whole range of other events that we are the ticketing agent.

“We really value our partnership with the Manly Sea Eagles and are excited that this will continue well into the future.

“Investing with our partners to enhance the ticketing process and improving ground access is a key part of our strategy and it is great to work with elite sporting organisations who recognise the importance of this as part of improving the member and fan experience on game day.”

The Sea Eagles will again play 10 of their 12 home games at Lottoland during the 2020 NRL season.
