VenuesWest appoints Ticketmaster as ticketing services provider
VenuesWest has confirmed that Ticketetmaster has been appointed as the ticketing services provider for all of its self managed venues.
The selection follows a tender process open to all major ticketing service providers and covers five of VenuesWest's nine venues
VenuesWest has up to 600 publicly attended events across the venue annually.
According to VenuesWest Chairman Graham Partridge Ticketmaster provided the right mix of commitment to new technology and customer service standards to meet VenuesWest's needs going forward.
Partridge explains "as customers migrate more and more from tradition sales platforms like telephone and box office we needed to ensure that our solution was future proof and addressed ever changing customer needs.
"There is a need for everything from virtual venue tours and electronic customer communication channels to online seat selection and social media integration to meet changing expectations.
"We believe that Ticketmaster can deliver a solution that will take ticketing to a new era and meet the vast number of ticketing requirements we have across so many venues from concerts and festivals to sporting fixtures and auditorium events."
VenuesWest is Western Australia's provider of premier sports, recreation and entertainment venues and its growing portfolio includes Perth Arena, Challenge Stadium, Arena Joondalup, WA Athletics Stadium, WA Basketball Centre, Midvale Speeddome, Perth Motorplex, Champion Lakes Regatta Centre and the WA Rugby Centre, nib Stadium with the State Netball Centre in the planning phase.
