Virtual reality walk-through for Bendigo’s new indoor stadium

Virtual reality walk-through for Bendigo’s new indoor stadium
October 14, 2017

A 3D virtual reality walk-through of Bendigo’s new indoor stadium is enabling stakeholders to see what the new venue will look like once it is complete.

Set to open next year, the Bendigo Stadium will feature three new sports courts, 12 outdoor netball courts, 4,000 seats and improved facilities and access for fans and players. Importantly, it will give local basketball, netball and volleyball clubs room to grow and the opportunity to train and play at a top-class venue.

Inspecting the new venue, which will also host concerts and other events, yesterday (Friday 13th October) Victorian Minister for Sport John Eren unveiled the new 3D virtual reality tour of Bendigo Stadium.

During his visit, Minister Eren also inspected construction at Bendigo Tennis Centre and the Bendigo Regional Aquatic and Wellness Centre.

Minister Eren stated “we want to give Bendigo the power to lure the best talent and biggest games - and these upgrades will do just that.”

“We’re building the facilities local clubs need to grow and be successful, and giving more kids the opportunity to play the sports they love.”
