Yas Waterworld hosts World Flowboarding Championships
Some of the world's top flowboarders have converged in Abu Dhabi to take part in the sixth annual Oakley Go Pro World Flowboarding Championships.
Taking place at the award winning United Arab Emirates's waterpark, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th October, the Championships will see competitors from six countries - the USA, Spain, Singapore, South Africa and Chile as well as the hosts along with the region's own former world champion, Clayton Barker, who will be going for gold in the strapless stand-up division.
Yas Waterworld Marketing Manager Ryan Watkins explained "following the intense qualifiers ... we're now looking ahead to welcoming the world's best flowboarders to the park this weekend."
