ActiveXchange secures second PLA award win for best use of technology

ActiveXchange secures second PLA award win for best use of technology
November 29, 2021

ActiveXchange has welcomed being the recipient of the Best Use of Technology Award for its collaboration with NSW Office of Sport at the 2021 National Park and Leisure Australia (PLA) National Awards of Excellence.

Held as a virtual event last Friday (26th November), the Awards recognise and showcase the outstanding work, initiatives, and innovative efforts of parks and leisure professionals who have delivered enormous benefit to their communities.

The award comes after the partnership between ActiveXchange and Office of Sport won in the same category during the 2021 Regional Awards - NSW/ACT in July.

Welcoming the acknowledgement of its work, ActiveXchange Chief Executive, James Ellender stated “we are incredibly proud to win this award for two consecutive years for very different reasons. It’s testament to our incredible team of data specialists who continue to push innovation alongside our sport and government partners.”

“Tackling data in community sport is not easy but collectively, we are building a significant network of data intelligence across Australia, New Zealand and now Canada and we look forward to continuing to work harder in 2022 alongside more than 100 sports across Australia and New Zealand, as ActiveXchange doubles down to support our network.

“As a network, we can genuinely change the game in how we collectively plan, deliver, advocate and invest in the future activity levels of our communities.”
