Business of Sports Summit hears of new challenges for sport consumption

The sports industry finding itself in an era of new fields of competition, where leaders are now faced with the challenge of adapting to increasingly digital and personalised forms of consumer entertainment, was a key message to emerge from the recently staged Business of Sports Summit (BOSS) 2022.
Held in Sydney on 7th and 8th June, Australia's sports leaders at the forefront of this evolution convened to share their pertinent insights at this year’s agenda-setting event.
Congregating the largest and most significant gathering of local and international sporting industries, BOSS 2022 offered an exclusive opportunity for delegates to connect and combat shared challenges facing the industry.
Facilitated by an executive learning agenda, these discussions ranged from digital sporting experiences to innovations in live broadcasting.
Trailblazing sports leaders who attended included Sarah Walsh, Head of Women's Football, Women's World Cup Legacy and Inclusion at Football Australia, Andy Marinos, Chief Executive at Rugby Australia and Lawrence Epstein, Chief Operating Officer at UFC (USA).
In 2023, BOSS will be returning to Sydney on 21st June for a 12th consecutive year.
Like its preceding events, BOSS2023 is set to offer unrivalled cut-through for sports business and will serve as an ideal platform to unlock the competitive edge to lead and succeed in this everchanging economy.
Further details of BOSS 2023 will be announced in the coming months.
