November 3, 2022

Digital sports platform Fanatics has strengthened its Australia senior management team with the appointment of Tyler Emsden as its new Director of Business Development for Australia and New Zealand.

In the role, Emsden will be responsible for building and expanding relationships with sports teams, leagues and organisations across the region.

The former Head of Commercial for the Essendon AFL club, Emsden (pictured) will be based in Melbourne and will also work with existing partners to maximise Fanatics’ relationships at major upcoming sporting events.

Fanatics clients include the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, for which it produced fanwear and accessories as well as support with eCommerce and in-venue retail.

The platform recently partnered with sports retailer, rebel, which sees it offer Australian fans more than 100,000 licensed products from some of the world’s largest sporting organisations including the NFL, NBA, all major European football clubs, MLB and Formula One.
