INTIX joins AO StartUps program

INTIX, Australia's largest independent provider of sports ticketing solutions, has been announced as the latest company that will benefit from being part of the AO StartUps program.
The Australian Open’s start-up initiative backs businesses working in sport, health and entertainment to build, test or pilot solutions with Tennis Australia and tennis events.
INTIX’s full-feature next-generation online ticketing platform offers membership, reserved seating season passes, hospitality, accreditation, corporate and sponsor passes, player passes, affordable selling and scanning equipment and door sales solutions. It has attracted a growing client base including NBL1, AFL Victoria, Western Australian Football League and Queensland Rugby League and will be piloted at the Workday Canberra International 2025 this weekend.
Welcoming the backing, INTIX founder, Alex Grant stated “we see ticketing as more than just a transaction, our mission is to provide the most feature-rich ticketing and membership platform dedicated to sports that enhances fan engagement and streamlines the event management process.
"In order to do that we need to evolve as fast as technology does and offer the best available software and solutions to our clients and their customers."
Other new businesses in the AO StartUp program will be announced in the leadup to the 2025 Australian Open, being staged from 12th to 26th January.
Previous companies to have joined AO StartUps include BatFast, 1080 Motion, Pendular, CAMB.AI, Prism Neuro Trickshot, DVOX, Stringr, Straffr, Circular, PAM, Raven, Cape Bionics, Equidi, Calyx, MATCHi and YBVR.
AO StartUps is led by Tennis Australia’s Innovation team and follows the launch of Tennis Australia’s Venture Capital Fund (Wildcard Ventures) and its multi-year partnership with global accelerator powerhouse, Techstars.
