revolutioniseSPORT launches visual newsletter builder for community sporting organisations
October 8, 2021

Leading sports management platform, revolutioniseSPORT, has launched an easy-to-use and robust electronic newsletter builder, designed to assist community sporting organisations in adding a new level of professionalism and engagement to their communications.

Recognising the importance of maintaining a sense of community with members and keeping community sport alive during COVID, the newly launched electronic direct mail (EDM) suite is designed to enhance and streamline the sending of professional and engaging communications.

The EDM suite is built into the revolutionise360 advanced marketing and analytics layer of revolutioniseSPORT and is fully integrated with the membership platform of over 14,000 clubs across Australia. Organisations can send structured newsletters, and have the capability to track email opens, views and click-through rates, further providing data-driven insights into their membership.

Introducing the newsletter builder revolutioniseSPORT Chief Operating Officer, Nicholas Watkins commented “there is an increased need for captivating and targeted communications within the sporting industry, especially when engaging with members.

“Due to the COVID-19 lockdowns and the continuing restrictions on sport, we have found that many organisations, from small clubs to large national bodies, are needing effective touchpoints to keep their members engaged and it is crucial this is easy for volunteers and staff alike.

“COVID-19 has had a profound impact in clubs and associations, where the struggle has been maintaining positive connections with their members. We are committed to delivering tools to help sports best communicate with their community, in an effortless, yet effective manner.”

Email traffic sent across revolutioniseSPORT has not only grown as more sporting organisations adopt to the platform, but has far eclipsed this during COVID-19.

Compared to the same period in 2020, 2021 has seen email traffic triple, indicating that sports are further capitalising on these communication methods throughout lockdown periods.

Snow Australia, one organisation that has had the opportunity to adopt these features and help shape its development, has sent over three million newsletters since the release of the EDM suite.

Commenting on its benefits, Snow Australia Administration Manager, Ryan Taylor noted “as one of the early adopters of the EDM tool, we have seen its evolution over time into the advanced yet easy to use communication tool that it is.

“We have successfully sent millions of emails using the platform, and have been able to provide constructive feedback that has helped make a stronger product. The EDM platform is streamlined and insightful and has become our primary tool for driving member engagement.”
