Campfire Digital Services has won a contract to overhaul the online presence of Stadiums Queensland's venues, including The Gabba and Suncorp Stadium.

The project aims to enhance the digital experience for the 5.7 million annual visitors to Queensland’s leading sporting and entertainment facilities.

The competitive tender process saw CRN Impact Awards 2022 finalist Campfire Digital emerge with the win.

It is now tasked with redeveloping and providing ongoing support for the websites of Queensland's major sports venues, with digital platforms serving as crucial information hubs for ticketholders and visitors alike.

The redevelopment will focus on creating a mobile-first design with robust content management systems. It will also prioritise enhanced accessibility and cyber security, while ensuring seamless integration with various third-party systems.

Stadiums Queensland which aims to provide exceptional experiences through world-class venues that enrich and connect Queensland communities, views this digital transformation as a key step in fulfilling its vision

To align with this vision, Campfire plans to conduct extensive customer experience engagement and user experience research.

As Queensland prepares to host the 2032 Olympics, this digital upgrade could play an important role in modernising the state's sports infrastructure.

Details of the contract were not disclosed.
