ActiveXchange announces key appointment for Western Australia

To support its expanding customer base in Western Australia, ActiveXchange has appointed Callum Warner to the role of Account Manager.
Announcing the appointment, ActiveXchange's Chief Executive, James Ellender stated "we've been really pleased with the engagement and uptake of SportsEye in Western Australia and see this is an opportune time for Callum’s skills and expertise to add real value to our network day to day.”
Earlier in the year ActiveXchange launched its partnership with SportWest which led to baseball, basketball, cricket, flying disc, golf, hockey, judo, rugby league, netball, volleyball and water polo all joining the Western Australia data network.
This, coupled with the continued engagement with leading consultants, venue operators and local governments has seen the steady expansion of SportsEye in the state.
Warner brings to the network a strong background in the sport and government, having worked for state government, state sporting organisations and local government in Western Australia, as well as spending time in the university sector both in Australia and Canada.
Ellender continued “with extensive experience in physical activity and facility programming, as well as infrastructure planning, coupled with a passion to maximise community outcomes, Callum is well placed to understand the needs of our clients and work hand in hand to support their data journey.”
Looking forward to his new role, Warner says he is excited to be involved with clients to improve people’s health and wellbeing, commenting “throughout my career I've seen the need for a platform such as ActiveXchange's SportsEye and the significant role data can play in enabling evidence-based decisions.
“I can't wait to delve into our customers strategic priorities to help uncover data insights that support their outcomes.
"The importance of data in influencing funding bodies and decision makers in this space is paramount and I'm especially passionate about using data to tell the significant story behind sport and recreation benefits in communities.".
Callum will be based at SportWest’s Sport HQ in the Perth suburb of Floreat and can be contacted via email at callum@activexchange.org
