Australia Sports Tech Conference set to be highpoint of virtual Sports Technology Week

Having been running since Monday, the Australia Sports Technology Week is set to reach its climax tomorrow with the 2020 Australia Sports Tech Conference.
Described as Australia's leading sports tech event, the conference, being held virtually because of COVID-19, will feature keynotes from around the world along with industry panels covering key topics in the sports tech industry in Australia, as well as internationally.
Staged by the Australian Sports Technologies Network (ASTN) and Vumero and running from 16th to 20th November, Australia Sports Technology Week (ASTW) brings together those with a passion for, and interest in, data, digital and technology in the sports, media and entertainment industry.
The ASTW and the conference provides opportunities for learning, networking, investment, sales and career development.
Tennis Australia wins 2020 #ANZSTA Award for Esports
For the second consecutive year Tennis Australia has taken out the #ANZSTA Esports Award, with the event organisers advising “cementing themselves as the best in the business when it comes to traditional sports in Australia embracing and leveraging esports”.
During the COVID lockdown, the Australian Open Tennis E-Series was launched using the video game AO Tennis 2 and was sponsored by technology company AOC International. 16 episodes were published featuring tennis pros playing from all around Australia, with 862,062 views recorded across YouTube, Twitch, Twitter and Facebook and over 14,000 hours of content consumed.
