ActiveXchange extends Recreation Aotearoa partnership

Data intelligence provider ActiveXchange has announced an extension of its partnership with Recreation Aotearoa for a further three years that will see ongoing collaboration on initiatives to increase community outcomes and advocacy opportunities.
Previously an annual partnership, the longer extension is a great testament to the value ActiveXchange is adding back to communities across New Zealand.
Representing all professionals in the New Zealand recreation sector, Recreation Aotearoa empowers members to deliver the quality Recreation experiences, places and facilities that fuel a more active, healthy and connected New Zealand. ActiveXchange will continue to work alongside Recreation Aotearoa by providing actionable insights for key projects and advocacy work, including their Poolsafe Quality Management Scheme, while also continuing to enhance data sets to drive evidence-based planning and decision-making.
ActiveXchange’s Movement Data Module forms a key component of the partnership, as Recreation Aotearoa will continue utilise this technology to better understand how, where and when communities come together.
Commenting on the extended partnership, ActiveXchange Head of Customer Success and Partnerships, Ricki Jones advised “it’s really exciting to extend our partnership with Recreation Aotearoa and offer insights and support to the network to enable more data informed decision making.
“New Zealand is a great place for Recreation and has so many opportunities for us to be active and live healthy lives so being able to support that through this partnership is something that I am really looking forward to.”
Tracey Prince-Puketapu, General Manager - Operations at Recreation Aotearoa, added “we are excited about the extension to our partnership with ActiveXchange and to have the opportunity to share data and offer insights and support to our members to make better informed decisions.
“We have a unique opportunity in Aotearoa to enhance our wellbeing through recreation and we believe that this partnership will help us show the real value of reconnecting people with place and nature.”
