Women Sport Australia partners with Sports Tech World Series

Looking to advance its goal to achieve fairness, inclusivity and the right for every woman and girl to pursue her passion for sport without judgment, limitations or barriers, Women Sport Australia (WSA) has entered a partnership with STWS - Sports Tech World Series for the upcoming 2025 Australia Sports Innovation Week.
Announcing the partnership, WSA President, Helena Wurf stated “WSA’s advocacy role in improving the sporting landscape for women and girls is further amplified by the outstanding initiative with the Women In Sport Photo Action Awards (WISPAA). We are shifting visibility and awareness into systemic change by influencing action through the creation of media portrayal guidelines.
“Having a platform where WSA can extend and amplify discourse about Ai and the role it is playing with sport and imagery is important to highlight and impact cultural change in Australian sport.”
